Day 4–December 4th is “National Cookie Day” so of course I had to bake cookies and I did make them while wearing a dress (with an apron).
The cookies gave me an opportunity to share Dressember with my neighbors because I decided to visit and share a few cookies with them while wearing my “Ask Me About My Dress” pin that I made. I even got a small donation from one of my neighbors in exchange for one of my Origami Dress Ornaments. I also wore my pin while out shopping at the grocery store.
Perhaps some of you might be wondering just what is meant by human trafficking.
A common misconception about human trafficking is that there is only one kind of trafficking going on in our world today, which is sex trafficking, but there is much more to it than that, even though that is horrible abuse which needs to be stopped, there are other kinds of trafficking.
Most times, millions of victims are affected in more ways than one when trafficked.
As you can see in this infographic there are at least six different forms of trafficking.
Together, we can aid in the mission to create the resources for victims and survivors of human trafficking of all kinds, and spread awareness of the different types of trafficking.
