Book Review: “Sing Me Back Home” by Amanda Mason

Sing Me Back Home book cover“Sing Me Back Home” is Book 2 in the Bluff Creek series by Amanda Mason

This book will be an enjoyable read whether or not you have read Book 1,”The Long Road Home”. in the Bluff Creek series, for it could be read as a stand alone novel.

If you enjoy contemporary Christian romance with a musical theme then you will love meeting the two main characters in this book and sharing in their lives as their chance meeting develops into a relationship and path neither of them expected, but one which can definitely be said to be part of God’s divine plan for their lives.

Melanie Michaels, a rising Contemporary Christian recording artist and Lane McCay, a Country Music Superstar are both traveling down different paths to reach their life long career dreams,  when a chance meeting causes their paths to cross and they both find themselves somehow drawn to each other.

As different events unfold and they begin a relationship with one another, each faces adversity from their record labels, friends, and family and they have to face the fact that they might need to discontinue their relationship in order to save their careers and find peace in their other relationships.

As you read and share in the various events Melanie and Lane go through, you will see God at work behind the scenes, and you will feel the struggle these two people have as they have to choose to live according to God’s will and way or according to their own wills, and desires. You will cry with them and hope with them as you relate to the situations they face and the trials and tests they go through.

Will God work it all out for good? You will have to read the book to find out. I recommend you do so as you will not be disappointed for Amanda Mason’s storytelling will capture and inspire you.

This book is now available in print or e-book on Amazon.com along with Amanda Mason’s two other books, “A Mountain Worth Moving” and “The Long Road Home”

I received this book as a gift from the author in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and comments are my own.
