Since it’s been snowing here for three days and I am basically snowed in, I decided to go out on my deck and get creative. The snow doesn’t pack very well, but I was able to put together this cute little snow person whom I dressed up royally!

Snow Day!

We are used to lots of rain, not snow. Portland, Oregon usually doesn’t get much snow and cold, so this was quite a surprising day for us here. Some areas around the valley got much more snow than the 3″ I got in my area.

This charming white bird is my neighbor’s yard decoration. He stands proudly by the fence seemingly looking for friends which reside in the meadow on the other side.
